Here are a few of our favorite links.  Some are national organizations with information about judges, breeders, cavies, and shows.  And one is a link to a very experienced cavy breeder who has some wonderful health articles.  These are all must to see.

•  American Rabbit Breeders Association - this is the mother club to all chartered club across the country.   They hold the "Standard of Perfection" book which our licensed judge using at the shows.  They hold one annual national show a year usually in the Fall.  Usually, you'll find over 10,000 entries in rabbits and 500 fancy cavies.  It is the super event of the year.
•  American Cavy Breeders Association - this is our national specialty club.  It also sponsors one annual show a year, usually in the Spring.  Members of this organization votes on the standard before the above club adopts it into their standard.
•  Peter Gurney's Guinea Pig Health Guide - a wizard of a man.  He has a great deal of experience when it comes to health care for guinea pigs.  This is a must to see.
•  Rare Varieties & Breeds Group Message Board - you have got to visit this web site.  See what all the breeders are talking about.  It's a different kind of message board.  Join it and ask questions.  You'll love it. 
•  Rare Variety Cavy Club - this is an European (England) club.  It has a fascinating pictures of some rare and wonderful rare varieties and breeds over there.  Take a look at this.
